January was an exciting month with the release of my latest novella titled The Fifth Line! As I've stated before (and as it's been reported on this website and on all of my social media platforms), The Fifth Line is the first story about a character named Trevor Graves. The feedback I've received has been overwhelming and I want to thank each and every one of you who've bought a copy and read it. it really does mean the world to me and I am eternally grateful! The plan as of now is to finish up the first draft of Whisperwood and then, after a short break to jot down some short stories, get to work on the second book in the trilogy. Wish me luck! I may need it!
It was Saturday when shit really started to hit the fan. They moved the NASCAR Xfinity Series Race up an hour from its original starting time to 4:30 PM EST. But, except for getting qualifying in early on Saturday morning, all Saturday events were washed out and inevitably cancelled. The Daytona 500 on Sunday was called early in the morning with both races being moved to Monday evening. Needless to say, Monday was a LOOOONNNGGG day in NASCAR. But I'm glad we got the races in and I'm glad to be back working for The Daily Downforce. They're a great group of guys and gals and though the change in schedule may have been stressful and chaotic at time, there's nothing better than getting paid to cover a sport that you love so dearly. Congratulations to your 2024 Daytona 500 Champion, William Byron and the Xfinity winner, for the third year in a row, Austin Hill. They both drove a great couple of races to cap off Daytona Speedweeks!
